Phase 2 The Warren to be Released For Sale

Hillcrest’s development of 31 new luxury homes in Hurst Green is capturing the hearts of Ribble Valley’s homebuyers with over half of the homes released for sale already reserved.

The Warren offers an irresistible combination of bespoke architecture, locally sourced materials, a superb specification and breath taking views out towards Pendle Hill.

A wide range of homes are offered suited to buyers at all life stages, including two-bedroom bungalows, three-bedroom semi-detached homes, two and three bedroom terraced homes and four and five bedroom detached family homes.

The development was launched in the Autumn. Now, with construction progressing well and the first release of homes on track for completion in early Summer, Hillcrest is releasing the second and final phase of two and three bedroom homes, which are priced from £156,000 (for a 60% share) and available via Home Reach, the nationwide part-buy-part-rent home ownership initiative.

Says Hillcrest Managing Director, James Payne, “We’ve had a fantastic response to date. Over half of the homes are sold and our agents, Honeywell in Clitheroe, are taking enquiries every day for the remaining properties. This next release includes affordable two and three bedroom homes which offer those interested in shared ownership the opportunity to buy a high quality, beautifully designed new home with a fantastic specification in a lovely new community.

“The homes really will appeal to all. They’ve been designed exclusively for the location and incorporate a range of complementary architectural styles that are blended together to give the development a feeling of maturity, as if it has grown organically over time.

“To achieve this visually, we’ve incorporated both ivory render and natural sandstone into the build and added areas of mature planting. Of course, for the new homes to truly be in harmony with their environment, both aesthetically and ecologically, it was important to use locally sourced materials, such as sandstone from nearby Leeming Quarry,” James adds.

Hillcrest has also ‘shopped local’ for the homes’ specification with the stunning SieMatic kitchens and Neff appliances coming from Read based kitchen designers, Stuart Frazer. Other designer influences include bathrooms and en suites from Villeroy & Boch with brassware by Vado.

As the development is south facing, many of the homes are fitted with photovoltaics, allowing residents to generate their own electricity and reduce reliance on the grid. Other properties benefit from Air Source Heating offering homeowners the opportunity to benefit from the Government’s new renewable heat incentive.

The picturesque Lancashire village of Hurst Green is just four miles from Whalley and Clitheroe and is one of the most desirable in the Ribble Valley due to its stunning countryside views, great walks, excellent accessibility and three primary and secondary schools rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted on the doorstep, including esteemed independent school Stonyhurst College.

The final phase of homes at The Warren will be released shortly. To register interest and pre-qualify contact Honeywell Estate Agents on 01200 426 041.
