FUTURE ∙ CURRENT ∙ PAST
Leigh Road, Hale
Hillcrest Homes is partnering with Hale Community Trust and Trafford Borough Council for the development of a brand new community centre and library off Ashley Road on the site of Hale Bowling Club.
Hillcrest will also deliver a new development of high quality luxury homes on the former library site on Leigh Road and Addison Road.
The new purpose built community ‘hub’ will provide clubs, associations and community groups in Hale with a well-equipped series of spaces in which to stage regular meetings and special events as well as providing the community with a modern library facility.
After a hugely rewarding period of consultation with neighbours, the local community, stakeholders and Trafford Borough Council, Hillcrest Homes and Hale Community Trust have revised proposals and will be submitting a new planning application in March 2019. The existing planning application has subsequently been withdrawn.
A public exhibition of the new plans will take place at Hale Library in early March. Further details will be announced on the Hale Community Trust website shortly.
