Hillcrest recognised a gap in the market in desirable West Didsbury for detached, and semi detached, family homes.

A buyer profile study identified an appreciation for historic architecture and energy efficiency. Working with architects, Calderpeel, Hillcrest responded with three-storey ‘executive’ properties featuring high ceilings, picture windows and period styling, ensuring the homes were in keeping with the vernacular architecture.

Photovoltaics were integrated into natural slate roofs to deliver real benefits to occupants. The properties also met Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.

All of the properties were all sold off plan with a waiting list of potential buyers should any sales not complete.

Hillcrest is always on the look out for other land or development sites with potential to purchase or as a joint venture opportunity, helping the land owner unlock the full return on their investment.
