The Ribble Valley has been officially named ‘the happiest place in the UK’ by the The Office for National Statistics.
On a scale of 0 to 10, Ribble Valley residents scored an average of 8.30 when asked by government surveyors about how happy they felt, well above the national average of 7.56. Anxiety levels were also low too, scoring just 2.4 out of a possible 10.
